1.    WHAT IS AN ELECTRIC FENCE?

An electric fence is a system that controls animals by sharp, short but safe electric shocks. Animals which experience the shock always remember the incident and the place. With the right design, wild animals stay out and domestic animals stay in. Electric fences are used for controlling many specimens, including sheep, cattle, horse, bear, pig, wolf, deer, etc. The system is efficient, economical, practical and humane.

 3.    A FEW EXAMPLES OF SOME APPLICATIONS

Protecting behives from bears : Bears have always been the number one enemy of  beekeepers, causing thousands of dollars of damage even in one night. In countries where governments are obliged to compensate beekeeepers,  thousands of dollars of public money is wasted because of bears.  A purpose-built-GALLAGHER  electric fence system, however, keeps the bears out, benefiting both beekeepers and governments. No other way can stop a hungry, strong and honey-lover bear more efficiently than an appropriately designed and installed electric fence. So much so that in some US states the governments legally make beekeepers install one and offer financial support.
